Basic Series by StokkeAustad and Frost Produkt
Basic is a series of timeless durable cooks kit design by StokkeAustad and Frost Product. It is a beautiful marriage between design and functionality and it has been awarded as Best Cooks Kit by Wallpaper magazine in Design Awards 2010. Currently, the series consist of a chopping board, a potato/mushroom brush, a masher, serving spoon/spatula, a trivet, stockable candleholders, water carafe, wine decanter and wine and old fashioned glasses.
Information from StokkeAustad:
“We wanted to create sturdy durable and lasting objects; lasting both in quality of material, and through an abiding form. The carafe and decanter have a large opening for pouring water and wine into them, and big easily maneuvered cork. The large neck of the opening is also used as a handle. The glasses take after the carafe in their straight lines, angles, and slight cone. The glass series are made of glass and turned oak.”
