These quirky and eye-catching illustrations are the works of Hartwig Braun, an architect who expresses his unique view of the world around him in a series of illustrations. He has been drawing very detailed images of cities and famous views from around the world with his free-hand illustrations, which are characterised by the bird’s eye view angle and “fish-eye lens” perspective effect. A full panoramic image could take up to 3 months to do and involves drawing every single building up to 20-30 times. More about him and his works are available at Arty Globe website.
“I have always had a passion for the metropolis. As an architect, I combine my architectural knowledge of structures to unravel the essence of a city together with artistic freedom to create these stylistic cityscapes from around the world.” – H. Braun
