Audi introduced the e-tron, a second electric car prototype at Detroit Auto Show 2010. The aluminium-and-plastic-bodied e-tron, weigh of around 1,350 kg only, with two electric motors with a combined output of 150kW in the rear axle, is capable of zero to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and 60 to 120 km/h in 5.1 seconds. Audi will produce at least 100 of the earlier and larger version of e-tron in 2012.
