This fragrance is designed by NY-based artist Anicka Yi and architect Maggie Peng. It is inspired by the former leader of the Japanese Red Army who was believed to be in exile in Lebanon for many years, Fusako Shigenobu. Cedar wood, which is highly regarded as a national emblem in Lebanon, have been chosen as the central theme of Shigenobu Twilight‘s narrative. The fragrance uses three different kinds of cedar wood as its base note, along with violet leaf and nutty heart notes, and top notes of yuzu, shiso leaf, and black pepper. The packaging is made of raw cedar wood and each bottle is uniquely hand-cut.
