Located in a dense residential area in the suburbs of Tokyo, this residence for a young couple was designed under the constraints of a small building lot in the suburban environment. The house’s integration of various different characteristics, such as angled alleys, a spacious room with high ceiling, creates an illusion that affects one’s psychological and physical sense of distance.
